Dear Mr. Walt Disney

As a mom of three young children I cannot think of anything else but world of Disney when talking about Multimedia and Transmedia.  The world of Disney is and always will be a big part of mine and my children’s memories of their childhood… 

                                               

As the multimedia and transmedia advanced so did improved quality and sophistication of choices for parents to treat and entertain their children.

Disney movies that my children watch produced using music, animation or in another words multimedia. 




To keep my children busy and entertained I as parent became active user of trasmedia that Disney company activate to promote their movies.   Transmedia is the broader way to reach out to consumers.  Disney movies are being transformed into games, advertisements, merchandise, and vacation destinations.

Transmedia helps further engage consumer not only as a passive viewer but active user and participator.  It is becoming debatable for parents whether that is positive or negative influence for young children to be actively involved and in some instances might even be addicted.  However, with good adult supervision and advisory transmedia could become a crucial learning experience.  For instance Museum of Natural History engages young viewers in scientific researchers through several platforms as life exhibitions, documentaries, games, books and merchandise products.
